About Gen X
Machinery

A precision CNC machine shop built on skill, reliability, and an uncompromising commitment to quality. Serving the engineering industry from Pretoria since 2009.

Who We Are

Precision Machining,
No Compromises.

Gen X Machinery was founded in 2009 with a simple principle: machine every part to drawing, inspect it, and deliver it on time. Fifteen years later, that principle still drives everything we do.

We are a team of 18 skilled machinists, programmers, and engineers operating from a 1 200m² facility in Pretoria East. Our floor runs 12 CNC machines across milling, turning, grinding, and fabrication — giving us the capacity and capability to handle complex, multi-operation jobs under one roof.

Our clients include engineering firms, OEMs, mining contractors, defence suppliers, and product developers across Gauteng and beyond. Whether you need a single prototype or a recurring production run, we apply the same standard of care to every job.
